DaCdb certified for RI Direct Connect |

 DaCdb is now certified by RI to directly update the RI database with MEMBER CHANGES generated by entries made in the District and Club database. This is the first phase of automated integration from DaCdb entries into the RI database.
Please note that this first phase only affects Member CHANGES to existing members, and does not affect the way you must continue ADDing new Members to the database (using the same procedure you have been using to add new members). For additional information on Adding New Members, click here.
Actions are required by each individual club to initiate this RI "direct connect" function. And after completing the 2 necessary steps, the changes to member records occur in minutes (vs. days in the current e-mail notification process).
The first phase requires actions by each individual club to initiate their desire to use this RI "direct connect" integration feature. And, this is a 2-step process: first, a club officer (president or secretary) logs into their club in the RI database, and makes the selection to use DaCdb as their integration partner. The second step is to log into the DaCdb database, and make a similar selection for their club to use the RI "direct connect" function.

That's it. Just complete the 2 steps documented in the instructions.
HOWEVER, please note that you must do the 2 steps in sequence: do STEP 1 before you begin STEP 2.
