NEW GENERATIONS
Celebrate New Generations Month by connecting through social media
Rotary has a lot to celebrate during New Generations Month in September. New Generations Service became the fifth Avenue of Service — joining Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, and International Service as a foundation of Rotary club activity — after a decision by the 2010 Council on Legislation, which met in April.

Most teens and 20-somethings are active online, so it is often easier to connect with them through social networking sites than through traditional means. Harnessing the power of Facebook status updates and 140-character tweets is gaining popularity in the Rotary family.
