Automatically Notify Members When Club Bulletin is Published |

DaCdb can now automatically send a Pmail to all Club members when a new Club Bulletin is uploaded to the bulletin file area. This is similar to the capability that was introduced for Committees several months ago.
If the Club elects, any file (PDF, DOC, XLS) that is uploaded, generates a short e-mail message to all members notifying them that a bulletin was uploaded (unless the member has Opted-Out of PMail blast messages).
Clubs can turn ON this option by editing their club record. This new parameter setting (Notify on File Upload) is under the Information tab on the club EDIT screen, near the bottom of that screen. Then, if the "Notify Members" is YES, a PMail message is sent out when a bulletin is added or updated on the system. Just click the link, to view the Release notes on this new feature.
