Your Voice, Your Solution

Your Voice,
Your SolutionLately the fellowship among your club members has been lax. How do you encourage friendship between members during the rest of the week? Add your solution.

Last month, many of you contributed your solutions to the problem of how to handle a member with a negative outlook. Read your colleagues’ suggestions.

Rotary International’s online problem-solving forum gives Rotarians the opportunity to exchange solutions and ideas. A collection of best practices has been created to help club leaders.

Training Tip

Highlight how different perspectives affect Rotarians’ work by presenting your audience with an optical illusion drawing. Search online for “optical illusion drawings” and “optical illusion chalk drawings” to find a variety of images, then have participants share what they see. Follow this up with a discussion of how different a project or idea can look from another angle, and have participants brainstorm ways to account for these varied perspectives as they plan an activity or event.

Thanks to a Rotarian in District 7600 (Virginia, USA) for this tip!
