| Why Rotary? |
Help prospective and new members learn more about Rotary and what it can offer them. View a short video explaining why Rotarians from all over the world joined Rotary, and encourage your fellow club members to do the same. The video will remind current members why they joined Rotary and serve as a resource to share with prospective Rotarians (EN only).

| Rotary Events pages updated |
|
There are many occasions for club and district leaders to learn more about their upcoming responsibilities, and for all Rotarians to increase their Rotary knowledge. The Events pages at www.rotary.org have been updated to include the recommended time frames and topics for several of these opportunities, including seminars for district leaders and for club leaders and members.

| Your Voice, Your Solution |
Your club does a lot of projects around the community but is never recognized by the local media. How do you get media attention for your club? Add your solution.
Last month, many of you contributed your solutions to the problem of how to get someone to take on the position of club secretary. Read your colleagues' suggestions. Each month, Rotary International's online problem-solving forum gives Rotarians the opportunity to exchange solutions and ideas. Search for "your voice" at www.rotary.org to read best practices for addressing everyday club challenges.

| District Rotary Foundation seminars |
|
|
| November is Rotary Foundation Month |
|
Arrange a special weekly program dedicated to educating club members about The Rotary Foundation. Consider promoting Rotary's US$200 Million Challenge or informing club members about the Future Vision pilot. |
| Training Tip |
Over the next few months, district trainers will begin planning for the presidents-elect training seminar (PETS), the district assembly, and many other training seminars held throughout the Rotary year. When preparing training leaders, encourage them to practice a session in front of other trainers. Provide leaders with sample sessions, and ask each person to facilitate one of them among peers. Afterward, ask the peers to tell the leaders one thing they did well and one thing that could use improvement. Training leaders will learn from the constructive criticism and gain confidence from the practice.
