The District Calendar
is now active and in a new format that is user friendly. If your club is having an event, fund-raiser, project or any other occasion to SHARE with your fellow Rotarians in the district, please put the date and details on the calendar. This can be done by submitting the following form: http://www.rotary6150.org/go/calendarform . This will encourage all of us to share in each others successes and to have fun as we bring our clubs closer together.

Are you proud of the Rotary Emblem? Remember to ask each Rotarian to wear their pin every day! Please also include Rotary marks as part of every Rotary project or event as part of your club's public image plan.  One of our biggest opportunities is to better communicate those special aspects of our service organization.

Please remember to also use the Rotary marks correctly. See these links to review the appropriate use of our organization's name and symbols.

Rotary Shares useful tips to insure your club's success.

Remember to remind each member to go to the district website www.rotary6150.org and look around. Especially encourage your members to register for the monthly newsletter.

Many club presidents find it useful to survey their members. Design your survey to measure your club members interests and to educate them about opportunities in their club.

Consider ways to increase pride in your club and in Rotary. Think about a new room arrangement, a couple of new banners, a new centerpiece, or anything to give a fresh look. Prepare your meeting so members are refreshed and glad they attended.

Remember the new attendance requirement is 50% down from 60%.

Consider a panel program of your senior members. Ask them to share their fondest Rotary memories. It will surprise everyone how some things transcend the decades and are common across generations for all Rotarians !

SEPTEMBER IS NEW GENERATIONS MONTH!!

                                       Have a great week!

PLEASE FORWARD THIS WEEKLY COMMUNICATION TO ANYONE YOU THINK WILL BENEFIT FROM THE INFORMATION.

Bob Warner, Jr.
