This will be an opportunity to share your questions and concerns with other members of your president's class. I will be there along with some of your assistant governors and senior district leaders.
We will have these forums throughout the year at different locations in the district. Save these first four dates and locations: August 2 in Little Rock, August 27 in Batesville, September 5 in Dewitt, and September 18 in Jonesboro.
District Foundation/Membership/Service Seminars will be held in four locations save the dates: September 4 in Jonesboro, September 11 in Forrest City, September 24 in Little Rock, and September 27 in Heber Springs.
Remember each club will need to send a representative to each of the 3 breakout sessions to receive club recognition. Please ask your Foundation, Membership, and Service Committee Chairs to accompany you to one of these seminars.
The Rotary Foundation can be easily supported through the annual fund's EVERY ROTARIAN EVERY YEAR program. Remember this money is totally used for GSE, scholarships and grants, no administration or hidden charges. It comes back to our district and your club can use it!
25 cents a day is not much money but it is so powerful in the good it can do!
I want to once again ask you to use the canisters-we have collected over 7000 of them for you and they are a great visual reminder to your fellow Rotarians of how easy $100 yearly gift can be. You as President can make a difference. Be a Star Club this year!
Have a great week!
