Ms. Sims is a graduate of the University of Texas Dental Branch, School of Dental Hygiene. She practiced dental hygiene in Texas and Arkansas for 25 five years in private practice and hospital dentistry. She is a past board member for the Texas Dental Hygiene Association and past president of the San Antonio Dental Hygienist Association.
Judy began her career in the drug testing management field in 1987, when she helped establish a new Clinical Toxicology and Environmental Health Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She remained at the University for 6 years. In 1992, Judy opened a’TEST consultants, inc.
As a member of the North Little Rock Rotary Club, she has served as a member of the board, treasurer, secretary, vice president, president-elect, president, and numerous committee positions. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow. In District 6150, she served as assistant governor twice and district membership recruitment chairman. She has received numerous Rotary honors, including “Outstanding Assistant Governor”, 4-Way Test Award, and Distinguished Service Award. She was Operations Chair for the Mid-America Pets in 2005.
Judy is a member of the North Little Rock, Greater Little Rock, Searcy, and Conway Chambers of Commerce. In 1999, her company was named by the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce as “Business of the Year.” She also served on the North Little Rock History Commission.
She was one of ten women who took part in a 2-week Soviet American Women’s Exchange to Russia in 1990. She served on the board of the Little Rock Executive Association, was listed in Who’s Who of Women in the World and the National Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals. She received the Arkansas Certificate of Merit: Outstanding Citizen Award in 1985 and was a finalist as the Business Executive of the Year in 1993 by Arkansas Business.
