1 The club’s President-Elect is required to attend PETS & District Assembly in order to serve as club President. Due to the amount of information presented at PETS and the ability to provide greater continuity of leadership, having the President-Elect Nominee attend PETS is a highly recommended investment in the future of a Rotary club.

2 District Assembly is THE main training event for the club’s leadership team. This is a required meeting for the President-Elect. Club officers, committee chairs and board members should also plan to attend the District Assembly as part of their preparation to take office for the coming year. Secretaries-Elect should attend the Secretary-Elect Training Seminar (SETS) that is held in conjunction with the District Assembly. SETS is the only training event directed solely to the important role of the club Secretary If the Secretary-Elect can not attend, please assign an alternate to attend and bring home the information and materials to your club’s Secretary-Elect.

3 Donations to The Rotary Foundation from ALL club members of some amount every year are required to qualify for the Governor’s Banner. Special recognition will be given to those clubs that reach or exceed (on average) the suggested minimum of $100 per club member per year.

4 Polio Eradication Pledges completed in a prior Rotary year will be considered a fulfilled pledge.
