Over 180 Rotary club Presidents-Elect from four districts (6110, 6150, 6170 & 6190) heard from Rotary International leaders from across the country. Your club’s President-Elect will make a full report to your club in the near future about this motivational and inspiring annual event.
Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Little Rock (Club 99) for their contributions of a copy of Frank Devlyn’s new book, Frank Talk II, and their sponsorship of the Quapaw String Quartet which is part of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, that provided entertainment during the Friday evening banquet.

Welcome Home GSE Team
I hope you followed our outstanding GSE team during their four weeks in District 1030 in northeast England. DG Ian Walker, District 1030, sent wonderful reports about how well our team and their leader, Jim Conner of Club 99, represented us. From what we’ve heard from the team members; Lisa Bilello, Amy Higgins, Denise Poindexter & Aimee Spencer, they’ve come home with new appreciation for Rotary and its internationality. Don’t miss hearing about their experiences first hand at the District Conference, May 5 & 6 in Jonesboro.

Make in Impact: Sponsor a Rotaract Club By Carol Langston, District 6150 Rotaract Chair
Is your club looking for a way to involve and inspire young professionals in your community? If so, why not sponsor a Rotaract club at your local college or university?
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are usually community-based or college/university-based and are sponsored by a local Rotary club making them true "partners in service" and key members of the Rotary family.

What Paul Harris Said – March 18, 2006
“I have never spent a busier 5 days than those in Copenhagen. They were full of incidents from morning until night save for my usual rest period in the afternoon, whenever rest was practicable.”
Paul Harris Peregrinations (unpublished) 1932
Traveling from Sweden, Paul had to take both the ferry-boat and then train in order to reach the Danish capital over 60 years ago. In June, thousands of Rotarians from all over the world will make a similar journey when we meet up for the historic Malmo-Copenhagen Convention – as recommended by the founder of Rotary!

When you are the Malmo-Copenhagen Convention of 2006, please visit our Rotary Global History Fellowship booth number H-010 in the House of Friendship. We very much would like to meet you in person.
